Platform 2
How can you get fog and a strong wind?
Whatever the answer, it was wet, miserable and cold when I took PD out this morning.
The first of the daffodils were thinking of opening (fools).
The station opened again yesterday and seen from a distance in the fog is the best way to see it (and this is processed to see it more clearly).
Girders and scaffold planks do not make for a pretty structure.
According to Scotrail the platforms are longer and wider than the old ones -- not according to their time lapse film of the work! They have also removed the steps so you have to walk miles and long, slow slopes, even though they are going to be putting in lifts.
After the morning it was up the the dentist for a check-up.
After that I was meant to be changing the light fitting in the diningroom - but the light levels have been so bad that I couldn't see well enough to do it. If I had put the lights on it would have been fine, but I am not sure about the safety aspect.
Maybe tomorrow.
The lunchtime walk was even wetter and colder - but it gave the signposts a nice shine.
