Sorry, this poor boy isn't sleeping.

We have seen lots of dead deer around here over the last couple of weeks. I am being told that the recent bitterly cold spell of easterly winds has had a dramatic affect on the animals; a need for additional calories simply to stay alive compounded with very little natural nutrition on the slopes.
