Three wheels on my wagon...

Or, six legs on my spider! Saw this poor wee guy struggling across the garden, missing Legs I & II on his left side and also a broken tarsus on Leg III. Amazingly he was still able to travel in a straight line, albeit very ungainly and uncomfortable looking.

Got a video of his unconventional locomotion while I'll upload to YouTube later on.

Hard to believe these are the spiders that everyone is so scared of - his reaction to me taking photos leaves you in no doubt that they're much more scared of us!
