Blessed and on their way

These are just some of the animals at this morning's Sint Hubertus Celebration in Tervuren. This is an annual church service where people bring their animals to be blessed. There were mostly horses and dogs but we did pass a little boy with a guinea pig along the way. I was imagining a Vicar of Dibley style scene with a queue of people and their animals but it wasn't quite like that. After the service there was the chance to go on to Vossem for a plate of Belgian chicory. They know how to put on a 'do' don't they!
