A visit to the vet

It was Otter’s annual checkup today. For a dog who’ll be 13 later this year he was pronounced in good fettle.

The gorillas needed a check over too. Four plastic primates in all (and all called Adam. The Addams Family!). Great that Claire the vet took time to bandage them, listen to their hearts (not much going on there) and weigh them. And the toddler was given bandage to bring home so we can carry on mending the animals. That’s the way to encourage the vets of the future. These monkeys belonged to the toddler’s dad. Plastic really does have a worryingly long life. Glad I kept them for the next generation.
