Slightly touristy shot of the Eiffel Tower

Mairead and I met up with Tara and went up the Arc de Triomphe. I don't think I've ever been up it before. There were a lot of steps and it was definitely the most exercise I've done since getting here. The view was amazing despite it being a bit cloudy. We even tried to work out where we live and it turns out it's not really that far away at all. Also, while we were up there a man proposed to his girlfriend, she said yes and they looked very happy which was quite sweet.

We then went and found a little restaurant off the Champs Elysée which did amazing French onion soup. After that we headed to Bastille and had another hot chocolate. (Seems to be all I do, I know) It was a really nice very French bar and we stayed there for hours, I felt a bit like I could've been in Amélie. You had to make the hot chocolate yourself in that they gave you a mug of liquid chocolate and a jug of steamed milk. Definitely going back there.
