Hoopoe taking a grub to the nest

After our long bird-watching day yesterday, today was mainly spent catching up with jobs around the apartment. But we went out for a short drive late in the afternoon - up to the old derelict Monastery which is nearby and is a magnet for birds. We were hoping to see the Kestrels which nested there last year but instead two Hoopoes kept us amused for ages coming and going from their nest in what seems to be a broken pipe near the top of the building.
We are about to go up the 'Urb (the newish urbanisation just up the road from us) and find a sports bar which is showing the Wolves match for Derek.
