River traffic

The volume of traffic on the river here is huge.  Non-stop, they come and they go, all shapes and sizes of boats, most look trade-related but there's always some water taxis buzzing around or the River Bus - heading off to their designated quays.  It's quite interesting to watch them all from this point on the Erasmus Bridge.

We had lots of thunder and lightning last night.  I am scared of it, so hid under the blankets for it all but T braved a look outside and said the lightning bolts were in such quick succession that it looked like strobe lighting.  Not for me, thank you.  Not such a nice day today, although it's still hot and I fear we may be in for some more tonight.
