potential for development?

This afternoon I set off on a solo wander round Leith. This old lighthouse sits at the entrance to the docks, just past the new development of expensive riverfront flats and penthouses. It's obviously been the target of vandals and is now completely fenced off. What a shame - it's a cracking old building that really should be given a new life as a cafe.

Tomorrow marks my last week in the employ of the Trading Standards department. It is with a heavy heart that I depart - I shall miss my friends very much, not to mention the lunches, the cakes, the chocolate etc etc...
