A CLASSIC...
.... we had a superb visit today to the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences Museum Discovery centre....
There was everything you would want to enjoy on display showing so much from "back when"!!
This small micrometer took my eye, being made for the blind in braille with finger tip reading to 1/1000th of an inch. Details extra #1.
And the extra #2 - wow!! A needle work panel in Charles 11 type silk dated to 1660 - 1685.
And what about, extra #3 showing an old bus, taken from the mezzazine level of just one "store" as there referred the rooms which shows the size - and hanging up above this in extra #4 showing one of four planes and old sea plane.
Just fantastic, and of course took manty pics which I will get to Flickr at some point. Although most of the displays were behind glass still managed some "okay" shots.
Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE, and check out the info of the Centre here
