Chaffinch

I am having trouble with my windows. They are dirty and the sash cord has snapped. This means I cannot open the window enough to clean it. I can just about refill the bird feeders but only just. I will have to explore fixing it. English heritage is running a short session on how to repair sash windows next Wednesday. I am not booked on the course- no room. It is in a public place and I have been told by the heritage staff that I will be welcome to watch.
