Frogs on the snow!

The snow on the hills is melting fast and the frogs have big ideas. They are all on the move - all getting together and finding themselves pools to dump their spawn. We saw many making slow progress across some of the large snow patches. They seem to make a jump and then sprawl and gradually draw themselves back together again to make the next small leap after a few minutes. They also seem to sit up - maybe to get themselves off the snow so they could warm up a little and get their cold-blooded processes working enough for the next step. 

This little chap got a helping hand across after posing so splendidly for today's blip.
