Ely Cathedral

Had a trip to Ely to meet some people from East Anglia Brewers to discuss 'nerdy' things as Steph would say.

Whilst there, an opportunity to grab a picture seemed rude to turn down.

Ely cathedral really does dominate the surrounding countryside. For those that have never visited that part of the world, Ely is built on the only hill of any significance in the area, the rest being very much fenland. The cathedral is bang on the top of that hill, and the highest building, so it makes a statement. Old fashioned Sat Nav.
