It's Good to be King

My 2 old Tom turkeys are herding their harem and chasing off the few young Jakes that think they can usurp the food supply. It's fun to watch their futzing about to keep the hens and Jakes separate. There used to be 4 old Toms; now there are only 2. Time, coyotes and cougars on our hillside keep the population from exploding. There are over 40 turkeys that call our hill home.
