A very sticky bud

It's been many weeks since I had a walk in Queens Park ... although it was very windy and cold there was some sunshine in the morning ..... so with my camera hanging round my neck and a dog lead in each hand Poppy, Mia and I set off for the park.

Queens Park has many horse chestnut trees and the sticky buds are just beginning to open allowing the new leaves to start growing at a tremendous rate.  Not too easy to take a photo with two leads held between your knees!
