Went back to see the doc today - the results of the MRI confirmed what he thought -  lots of inflamation around the heel and ankle - in french the term is Bursite . guess it's something similar in english. So in addition to the physio, I am going to have a cortisone injection next week and then see how it goes for next month, after which there are other options.

Here's a pic of the Russian church that I took a little detour to see on the way back from the doctor, and quite apt given that on this day in 1961, Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first human to travel into space.
