a peep through the hedgerow..

......into someone's lovely garden on a walk around the lanes and muddy green lanes in St Peter's and Torteval this morning. There's a donkey sculpture towards the back of this garden made of woven twiggy willow branches or something like that. Julian took a Perry's guide map, and navigated so we didn't get lost, and luckily the only traffic we met were horses, and the very ocassional car, so it was most pleasant.
This afternoon we made two Christmas cakes!
