Parliament

Another very enjoyable, full-on day culminating in a cruise on the Danube this evening with a four-course meal, folk music and dancing, which we joined in with, of course. Strangely, Hungarian dancing involves a lot of thigh slapping, both your own and other people’s. Pictured is the Hungarian Parliament, I believe, looking quite resplendent as we pootled past.

Earlier highlights included swimming and relaxing at the Gellert spa and tea at the opulent New York Cafe. It’s a lovely place, Budapest.
