A grey day in the capital

Drove down to Stirling last night for the weekend, talking the opportunity to combine today's COSLA meeting in Edinburgh with a trip to see my mum. It was very grey and damp in the capital, and much the same in Stirling. It's been a tough week with news of the sudden passing of three more contemporaries namely Bannockburn's much loved parish priest, the husband of a school friend and a former Councillor colleague. May they all rest in peace.
