Dusty

A dust storm came in today. No, it wasn't one of the massive haboobs we get. Those come during monsoon season, July to September. This was just lots of dust in the air. Note the flag on the right being blown by the wind.

Tomorrow I am going to Tucson to see my 96-year-old grandpa. He's losing his sight to macular degeneration. A little over a week ago, his left eye went blind. Thinking it was a stroke, my aunt took him to a doctor. They found out it wasn't but did more tests and a day or two later found out he is losing his eyesight. His left eye won't work, and his right eye is blurry. But he's still kicking. So I am visiting to take him to lunch.
