Scrabble tournament Saturday

Our house guests have gone away for the week....

We danced with joy will miss them so much as we waved them off to spend half term in Norfolk this morning.

As much as we are enjoying their company, it felt lovely to have our little flat back. It is a very small space for four adults and a slobbery dog.

So...cleaning and tidying in order. We attacked it with vigour, music turned up full blast, hoover out - who would have thought domesticity coud be so pleasurable?

But at about 11 0'clock our domestic bliss was rent asunder by B 'standing up' resulting in a bad back. Bending was not on the cards so I carried on cleaning and sorting whilst B set up the Scrabble board. I am a poor Scrabble contestant, not very tactical, far too concerned about the best words I can make from what's in my seven letters, not paying enough attention to the board.

Suffice to say, I did not win - but the flat is looking lovely.
