Just add some warm sunshine…

…and you’d have the picture perfect view from my favourite riverside pub.

But this afternoon there was a dearth of both warmth and sunshine as I sat shivering by the river, even though I was wearing coat, scarf and gloves and sitting underneath a patio heater! Despite the weather, it was good to get some fresh air and catch up on the news with a friend, and we even got to see Princess Anne who was in town to open the Chocolate Quarter. (See extra – you’ll have to take my word that that’s Princess Anne!)
