Remembering Srebrenica #1

Up with the sparrow burp and then three flights later arrived in Sarajevo in Bosnia Herzegovina as part of the Remembering Srebrenica Scotland delegation.

A fascinating session with the British Ambassador and then a wander through the old town.

We didn’t travel far before the signs of the conflict were writ large on the buildings around us.

Tomorrow we meet with the Women of Srebrenica and discuss the use of sexual violence in war and genocide and their continuing fight for justice.
