Feierabend
It has been a very typical Friday. Deskwork all morning, and relaxing in the afternoon.
The "relaxing" bit was hampered by the cold (6⁰c), cloudy weather. It was a good reason to enjoy a coffee after lunch in the cafe at Dysart Harbour and get a Blip as well.
A strange thing happened today. One thing on the task list for the morning was to get office approval for a short summer break in June. Having got 50% of the approval today (from the Manager - the Boss is on holiday) I decided to investigate travel options a bit more.
I saw flights to Vilnius for the dates I'm hoping for at a great price (under £200 return with SAS). So that pretty much made my decision for me, assuming I can get the other approval on Monday.
Next thing I did - quite literally - was log into Facebook to check if the webcast highlights of Junior's ice hockey game on Tuesday has been posted. It hasn't but I had a friend request...
It was from Ramunė, my friend and former colleague in Vilnius. So, coincidence or Facebook's data gathering systems doing something?
