Floating on water

Bridge Cottage, built in Gothic style in the late 19th Century is adjacent to the River Darent and part of the Farningham Mill estate. The Mill was a corn mill built in the 18th C and fir years remained empty and neglected. It was recently restored by a property developer and converted into high end homes with a very high price attached.

Our favourite Indian restaurant is in Farningham and while we await our takeaway order we always have a drink in the pub next door, The Chequers, is adorned with the wackiest collection of artifacts ever seen in a pub. This includes a full scale knight in armour, stuffed tweeting birds and masks to name just a few of the weird and wonderful objects.

A good way to spend a Friday evening, especially as the sun came out this afternoon and the grey sky was replaced with blue.
