Just a Tick
(or two)
I have just read that pheasants are considered a reservoir of Lyme disease - and there was I thinking deer were to blame.
Ticks are the vector that transmits the disease from animal to animal. This male (cock) pheasant has quite a number visible on its facial wattles. Goodness knows how many more lurk under its feathers.
Sorry, no time for artistry/creativity today.
