Pumpkin artistry

Today was a very long day. We spent it indoors due to the blustery weather but I'm thinking we should have gotten dressed in our overcoats, gloves and puddle suits and gone out. Both kids were pretty bored and moan-y for much of the day and therefore so was I!

We did carve up some pumpkins. Carl did the moon and stars and I tried my best Clockwork Orange jack-o-lantern with some success I suppose. Cleo wanted hers to be a cat and she also chose a robot for Ash. So here is our pumpkin family. Cleo helped to clean out her pumpkin but said it was yucky and gross. She didn't really enjoy touching the gloopy innards. Now, early to bed methinks!
