Steller's Jay

Oh my goodness, a flower one day and a bird the next!   :-)  But  I hardly ever see these jays here and today there were 2 of them at the feeders for awhile.  And I did like him on this rope, waiting his turn at the feeder nearby.  And the downy woodpecker was right in there too,

A lovely rainy day to spend in the studio…..As I putter with projects,I’m listening to John LeCarre”s memoirs, The Pigeon Tunnel, on cds, which I got by mistake from the library (thot I was ordering the book for book club).  I’m afraid I really can’t appreciate all that spy history …the books I’ve tried were hard for me too, but I have gotten quite fond of his British voice reading!
