Castlerigg Stone Circle

Back blip, if visiting the Lake District I always try to visit this site, the circle dates from about 4,500 years ago and had religious significance, not military. I only spotted the figure during editing (must be getting old!). I was torn - colour or mono and include the latter as an extra.

Grandson and I were on our home to the contrasting flat Norfolk landscape from our tour of the Western Isles of Scotland. The trip and various odd jobs since getting home have left me little time for Blip so apologies for not commenting much or replying - thank you though, although I have looked at your interesting images.
