Walking along the towpath now, you cannot miss this building. It`s the new student accommodation block for DMU. I think its 23 floors high and officially the tallest building in Leicester. It caused a stir when the plans first went on show last year and the residents in the surrounding houses are up in arms as they are now overlooked.....big time.
The other building is more accommodation.....Liberty Park, built on the site of the old Liberty building. I think there are possibly more student places in Leicester city than anywhere else
