King cups

Botanical name “ Caltha palustris.”
Also known as Marsh Marigold, and Mollyblobs, among many other names.
Looking lovely round the village pond.
Not sure what has happened to all the ducks as there were only about half a dozen, plus a couple of Canada geese.
Sad to see Tom’s nursery all locked up.
I have heard that they are going to plant a tree, by the pond, in memory of him. A lovely idea.

What a change in the weather.
Sat in the garden to read the paper, and have a cuppa. The sun felt really warm. Hope Spring has sprung at last!
