Friday Fun

A trip to the tip (or recycling centre as they are known now), and then caught up with some friends for drinks after work. Much hilarity ensued and then it was off to the last of my #edscifest outings. Dallas Campbell entertained us with some discussion on some of the things we’d need to consider when leaving planet Earth. The highlight for me was watching a video from the 70’s of a team of seamstresses cutting patterns and making made to measure space suits. A fascinating bit of social history and we got to see a real suit to boot!
