Quintessential Langdale

A very gentle return to Hill instructing today. If you can't work hard then work clever.
A half day steep ground workshop in White Ghyll. Good easy access and learning from leaving the car park. Not the furthest or highest I've been since the operation, but definitely the toughest 8000 steps yet today.

A great bunch and a great session, made all the better by a day much much nicer than forecast.
There's still a long long way to go but today felt like another step in the right direction.

I'd been excited this morning when my Aircast 60 ankle brace, as worn by one Andy Murray, arrived. Its a superb support and I can see how it's design would make rolling an ankle very difficult. But sadly it's completely unwearable with walking boots. Glad there's a no quibble returns policy.
