an excursion to Mabie. Some of the walks were diverted because of forestry operations, but we just enjoyed being out among the trees and Jess had a lovely time too. We followed a trail of Easter eggs and carrots (see extras) and later discovered that they were part of an activity for tiny children on very small ponies. 

The photo shows one of the SEVEN STANES - this one is known as the "Ghost Stane". The heart is a muddy addition by D.

This evening Joe and Kim came for dinner and we watched Laurel and Hardy's "Sons of the Desert" on DVD :-)
