We plough the fields and scatter....

Sun, a big yellow thing in the sky , all day !
Still like a bog under foot though. Will take more than one day without rain to dry things up .
Got all excited though and loaded up 6 tons of seed barley and ran it down to the contractor's yard so he has it ready for when it does dry up enough to sow. The only thing is with a late spring that it will also mean a late harvest and we will likely still be skittering around trying to combine up here in late October. Just saying .
This old Ransomes single furrow plough was one that I learned to plough with behind a 2wd Ford 4000 when I was still at primary school , before moving up to a 3 furrow behind a 70 hp 4 wd Zetor ! Those were the days !
