Fort Nelson

Today was the 2nd South Coast Blip-meet. About 10 of us met up - a great chance for a chin-wag, and maybe take some photos too.

As suggested by Daff, we met at Fort Nelson just above Portsmouth. It's a really interesting place with loads of old cannons. Some were truly impressive - including a couple of sections of the Iraqi Supergun (it's huge). A couple of firings of a modern field gun showed the power of these things.
