A Wet Morning

We took a student down to Ullswater to give her some practice with her new camera before she goes on holiday next weekend. She was particularly keen on landscapes and panoramas so this seemed an ideal spot with 2 views of the lake.

The worst thing about the day was that it was pouring down but we had solved that problem by buying a fishing brolly, keeping us and the cameras dry. There must have been a lot of rain here because when we went to Aira Beck we found that the stream had become a raging torrent. The Force must have been spectacular but we hadn't time to look.

I had been hoping to learn something, myself, tonight but lunar photography was a non-starter. Maybe tomorrow, when the moon is full and the sky is due to be clear.
