put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up

today we went mid-sea snorkelling

it was absolutely INCREDIBLE..


it would take too long to describe what we saw, but basically imagine all these coral reefs and amazing fish you see on the deep-sea tv programmes and put them before your eyes in real life

it's safe to say i was lost for words, well worth a day out in the dhow, even if it got windy and it was a bit scary on the way back


this is the coconut that our sailor mashed up for us - he also chopped up the sweetest pineapple i've ever tasted, and i tried my first taste of coconut water, warm and straight from the nut

tasted horrid, not going to lie though, haha..


then they prepared the best seafood platter i've ever seen, and i tried a million new things - who would have thought that octupus (despite the weird feeling suckers :s ) tasted so ..okay :)
