Pirate Day...

A beautiful autumn day was had down at Pirate Day in North Berwick.

If you've ever wondered what pirate day down at the Seabird Centre is like, well wonder no more. It's expensive and crap! But maybe my lack of sleep and loss of general mirth and goodwill are just as much to blame as the fact it cost us twenty quid to get into a thinly veiled attempt to drum up some custom for a centre with LOTS of information about seagulls.

But it's not all about me, is it? Did Arlo have a good time? I hear you ask. And yeah, he thought it was okay. We were all slightly shellshocked after Ida cried / roared / screamed / shouted and generally acted like a caged wild beast that had been shot with a dart ALL. THE. WAY from Edinburgh to North Berwick.

We were twitching and half mad by the time we got home to Edinburgh after a repeat of the journey down.
