The swallows are back

What's great about Blip is looking back through your shots and comparing similar scenes from the previous years. Every year, I like to get a shot of the first swallow we see - their epic 9000 mile journey to return to our shed never ceases to amaze me. Last year, the first swallow was spotted above the house on 18 April. They're four days earlier this year - much to the excitement of my wife. Is this an indication of a good Spring / Summer? Only time will tell, but based on previous years, there is no guarantee!
