Day 75 - The Winter Collection

Meet Amy... :-)




We woke up today in the hostel in Hanover where we played a few more games of table football before breakfast. I reckon one day I will have one of these in my house. It was brilliant fun! I can get ever so slightly competitive. A games room has been added to the extravagant grand design of my future house, in my head.




We then went into Starbucks which was brilliant as you can tell from my Blip I haven't always got access to free wifi in the accommodation. You can however rely on Starbucks!




We performed a short ten song set in the freezing cold Hanover before heading to our hotel for this evening. Which again has no wifi - well, it has wifi but it doesn't work apparently. So this will be a delayed blip.




We had a little time to warm up again before heading to Rainer's Rockhaus for our gig tonight. The venue was brilliant. I was struggling from the performance this afternoon to this evening, missing home. Feeling I couldn't play my best or sound any good as the temperature was freezing my fingers stiff. Just generally feeling fed up. Halfway through the performance tonight I did turn that round somehow with the vibe from a warm gig inside and the great venue atmosphere and get my positive head back on. I was seriously "wigging" as Andy our drummer says...

The thought of seeing my baby in 34 days. Knowing she has today got us tickets to go and see Emeli Sande together in April next year... Getting to go to panto with her and spend New Year together... All of these thoughts, even just simply imagining her smile. Get my eyes back off the floor and into positive land.
