Ironman in our city

Today the African Ironman is happening in PE. The winner is already in, in a time of just over 8 hours...and still cyclists are coming past our house - with a full marathon to run ahead of them, I feel tired for them!
The great news is that the winner is a local from PE!! Second in is an Australian.
This was taken earlier...nice to see lots of women taking part.
In September the World Ironman is being held here too. Hope the weather will be as good as it was today. It's been wonderful seeing our city...and our village of Schoenmakerskop...on TV!
