On yer bike, mate!

A cycling event through the village today. The League of Veteran Racing Cyclists (LVRC) organises competitive road racing for men & women over 40 and today held three separate races to cater for all their age categories as part of the 2nd round of their country-wide seven race National Series.

I was busy during the first two races but we were out for a walk when this final race for riders aged 60-80 passed through the village. Apparently the race was due to last around two hours during which they did four circuits of the course, but we didn't wait for another view. I do a little bit of cycling myself but I am definitely more cycle clips than Lycra!
