Encumeada

I had a plan left for tomorrow but not for today. Decided that we'd covered the island except for the South West so we headed that way to tackle the road round the mountains, just because it was there. I meant to stop at Ponto do Pargo at the tip but we were up in the clouds and I missed the turn. We arrived at Porto Moniz again and spent another half hour watching the waves, which were even stronger than the other day.

The sun was out and the mountains were clear, it has been a lot warmer this end of the week. I couldn't resist going high again. We returned to Ecumeada. The other day we couldn't see the end of the car park for cloud but today we got the full view. 

On the way back we stopped at Camera de Lobos, just to say we'd been there as well!

Unfortunately it is now time to pack up the apartment.
