Misty conditions greeted us this morning. Wet parking conditions meant hard standing was required. We were diverted to Chapel Stile quarry to park for the event. However it added 25 mins onto my walk to the start which was 40 mins with rather a lot of climb. All before I started my course!

Rough conditions underfoot did not agree with my knee and as a result I felt I walked more than I ran. Fortunately the rain did not arrive until I finished. Needless to say I fell asleep on the journey home.
