Back in the woods off the trail, we spotted a large buck. Then a larger buck. And finally, the granddaddy buck. Look at those antlers! I have to admit I was a little nervous, and as I continued down the trail, I occasionally looked back to make sure he wasn't following me. Thankfully he wasn't, but something was.

More snow is predicted tomorrow, although not a lot. We are close to breaking the record set in 1978 for the most snow in this area for the month of January. It has been a cold and snowy month.
