Perspective

We woke up bleary eyed (after another unsettled night) and had a slow morning packing up the holiday house whilst also chasing Joseph around the outside of it! And pushing him around it in a wheelbarrow so he could pretend he was kayaking?!

After we left the house we went for a walk up a big hill. It was a beautiful day, absolutely perfect and Joseph really enjoyed the walk, playing with sticks and stones he picked up along the way. We met a couple at the top of the hill who kindly gave Joseph some of their nuts and raisons, he was delighted! Joseph did really well walking much of the four mile route, and spending the rest of the time on Andy’s shoulders!

We had lunch in the village and drove home without a break. Joseph kept us entertained by singing such classics as ‘Hot MacDonnald had a Farm’ and ‘Happy Birthday to the builders’.
