Pink camellia

The party weekend continued this morning with a big brunch at Angie's house. After this, the various households that had made the long journey to Nottingham to celebrate the birthdays of our niece and nephew packed up their cars and set off home again.

Mr hazelh and I decided to stay an extra day in Nottingham so that we could spend some more (quieter) time with his sister and her family (including the birthday girl and boy). We enjoyed a happy afternoon chatting while Mr hazelh updated various devices at my sister-in-law's house. Meanwhile it poured outside - we were so pleased that we had the sunshine yesterday for lunch on the patio. This evening we treated ourselves to a takeaway curry, and then five of us watched Paddington together.

Tomorrow we return to Edinburgh once more.
