We went to see Hannah's friend in a play this afternoon. She was obviously Ariel in The Little Mermaid. At the end of the performance, all the young girls in the audience were coming up to her, so I teased Hannah to go up & get a photo with the mermaid, too. These two have been friends since they did ballet together as preschoolers.

Now we are settling in tonight, awaiting the big storm. School has been canceled already for Monday & Tuesday in anticipation of the imminent devastation to come. The girls are all texting each other in celebration; I'm reminding of the fact that spring break just shrunk! Ah, to live only in the moment without concern of tomorrow....
