Mono Monday.....Contrast

For some reason I struggled with the challenge today.............Took a walk around a very large Victorian cemetery, Arnos Vale this morning, with some of the Somerset A Year With My Camera group. The cemetery was opened in1839 and has more than 300,000 people remembered here.......It has suffered years of neglect and it quite sad to see, but is now managed by a charity dependent trust fund. This tree has been completely stripped of bark down one side, I have no idea how, or why, but I hope it represents a suitable image for today's challenge of contrast......thanks to Chantler63 for hosting:)
